The only way to get most or all of the news stories from around the world related to guns in the controlled media, is to go to keepandbeararms.com and read the newslinks brought to their site.
Keepandbeararms.com used to be owned by Angel Shamaya, but was barely scraping by. That was the weakness that the deep pockets of the establishment were looking for, so they bought out the site, got it a new server, and even let Angel keep his title of founder. So which arm of the establishment took advantage of the poverty of the liberty movement? It was a little known group with a strange "national advisory council" headed by none other than Dick Cheney. Under dick on this bizarre "council" sits Dan Quayle of all people. It gets better. Under them is a group of congressdudes that are labeled "congressional advisors" (whatever the hell that means) which is mostly symbolic to help these 40+ congressdudes appear pro gun to keep them in office.
So what is the name of this deep pocketed, establishment connected group that is not only top heavy, but EXCLUSIVE to government employees? GET THIS, they must have done their focus group testing to come up with this, but it's named, of all things, "Citizen's" Committee For the Right to Keep and Bear Arms! Talk about nerve and gall to name it that but it gets better. This falsely named front group SAYS all the right things, but that's all it does. It issues big talking press releases about once a week and does NOTHING else! They must think gun owners are stupid, and maybe we are, because they haven't updated CCRKBA.ORG in FOUR YEARS! That's right four years, oh, except the press releases! It's utterly hilarious. The website is one loooong list of press releases. It's worth the look for a good laugh.
To throw off any possible suspicion, they use as a logo, a militiaman holding his rifle. It's quite nauseating once you realize what a front they are. Again, you have to remember, their only job at so called "citizen's" committee is to SAY the right things and keep incumbents in office.
Predictably, when so called "citizen's" committee swooped down with their deep pockets (having plenty of money is suspicious given their establishment connections and near total lack of exposure to gun owners) they turned keepandbeararms.com into an outlet for their stupid weekly press releases. That's semi tolerable. Whenever I see a newslink that starts with "CCRKBA says..." I just go on to real news stories.
By the way, so called "citizen's" committee has a very strange, almost mirror like relationship with the "second amendment foundation," another group that has a website full of a string of press releases but doesn't do anything but talk. Alan Gottlieb is the head of the 2nd am foundation and talks like the head of CCRKBA.ORG, yet so called "citizen's" committee has no independent leadership or reason for existence, kind of like what you would expect from an empty shell and a front organization.
